The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Loramendi Cabarcos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jenipapo SC were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ricardinho Pena took the corner. Elazar Larraín tried in the game's 4th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Loramendi Cabarcos. An annoying self made goal, 1-0. Loramendi Cabarcos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aníbal Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Loramendi Cabarcos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Junior in the 16th minute of play forced E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's goalkeeper Loramendi Cabarcos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loramendi Cabarcos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Alagoano in the 17th minute of the match. Aníbal Alagoano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Loramendi Cabarcos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Loramendi Cabarcos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Junior in the 21st minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Aníbal Alagoano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Loramendi Cabarcos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Bebeto Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aníbal Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Neymar Junior managed to get in a good position for a shot. E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's supporters rose to their feet, but Neymar Junior was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl Pilgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Pena in the 36th minute of play forced E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's goalkeeper Loramendi Cabarcos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Neymar Junior hit a great ball. In the 44thth minute of the game Ricardinho Pena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Loramendi Cabarcos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Alagoano in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loramendi Cabarcos saved E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO from getting behind. 47 minutes into the game, Aníbal Alagoano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Loramendi Cabarcos. Aníbal Alagoano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 57thth minute of the game Aníbal Alagoano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Loramendi Cabarcos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ricardinho Pena came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Jenipapo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardinho Pena couldn't finish the play. Aníbal Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kajetan Pilarski got a throw-in 76 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Zé Carlos Monteiro. In the 77th minute, Aníbal Alagoano made a precise shot to the right of Loramendi Cabarcos. E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Loramendi Cabarcos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Ricardinho Pena almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but E.C. RIO DE JANEIRO's Loramendi Cabarcos did a great save. Aníbal Alagoano scored 6-0 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Loramendi Cabarcos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jenipapo SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
