Aírton Sousa came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Karl Pilgren could save by the left post. Ricardinho Pena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Karl Pilgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matheus Neto. Jenipapo SC's Ricardinho Pena got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Alagoano in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelsinho Leite saved Vascogoianiense FC from getting behind. In the 23rd minute of the match Jenipapo SC got a corner. Vascogoianiense FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ricardinho Pena ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nelsinho Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Alagoano came free, but Nelsinho Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelsinho Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Alagoano in the 31st minute of the match. In the 36th minute Aníbal Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelsinho Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Junior in the 42nd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandre Tepedino to make the kick off. Nelsinho Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Pena in the 51st minute of the match. Karl Pilgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl Pilgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aírton Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Vascogoianiense FC's Edmílson Fernandez was substituted for 康渊霆. Vascogoianiense FC were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Jenipapo SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aírton Sousa took the corner. Falcão de Godoi made a great header on Vascogoianiense FC's corner, it was just that Jenipapo SC's Karl Pilgren managed to reach the ball for a save. After 62 played minutes Vascogoianiense FC got a freekick which was hit by João Pirani. 64 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho Pena came free, but Nelsinho Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's Vinicio Junior sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nelsinho Leite narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jenipapo SC's Karl Pilgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Monteiro in the 74th minute of play. After 77 minutes Vascogoianiense FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ricardinho Pena who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Jenipapo SC's Ricardinho Pena to fire away a dangerous shot which Nelsinho Leite despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zé Carlos Monteiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nelsinho Leite. Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game João Pirani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jenipapo SC's Karl Pilgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute, Pompiliu Poalelungi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd match minute, Jenipapo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Maurício Arósio hit a great ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
