Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Vidal in the 2nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. César Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Eikelkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferrao FC's César Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Eikelkamp in the 7th minute of play. César Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 9thth minute of the game Gustaaf Groeneveldt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ferrao FC's César Proença was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pelle Grini hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Ferrao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but César Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 22 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Lars Meesters nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. César Proença made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 33 minutes into the match, Ferrao FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Eikelkamp came free, but César Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes Ferrao FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Arantes. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Ferrao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Gust Ennemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlinhos Viana went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Vidal in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Angelo Vidal made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Carlinhos Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute of the match, Lars Meesters tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but César Proença saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 56th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert Nijveldt to maneuver through the defense. Pelle Grini struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferrao FC. The audience was convinced that Wim Wilmes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but César Proença was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Vidal came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. César Proença was a little too slow when Wim Wilmes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-2. Claudinho Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match, Wim Wilmes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but César Proença saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 79th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ferrao FC booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bas Tuitert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferrao FC's Pelle Grini got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. César Proença was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Gust Ennemans charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gust Ennemans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gust Ennemans hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Angelo Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Pelle Grini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ferrao FC.
