The supporters of Crystal Phallus booed when Erzincan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yahya Balkar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franz Clifton scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alparslan Utkan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franz Clifton got free with Alparslan Utkan in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Franz Clifton took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Alparslan Utkan to make any attempt to save it. Carlton Boothroyd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alparslan Utkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Coe in the 33rd minute of the match. Crystal Phallus's Franz Clifton got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franz Cliftons short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Alparslan Utkan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 44 minutes, Barry Reading mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crystal Phallus and the Erzincan FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Barry Reading hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Crystal Phallus's goal looked a bit too open when Yahya Balkar came free, but Donny Rowell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franz Clifton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alparslan Utkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franz Clifton in the 51st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Erzincan FK's Saadettin Horasanlı got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Alparslan Utkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Clifton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute Franz Clifton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alparslan Utkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alparslan Utkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franz Clifton in the 63rd minute of play. Kev Land's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alparslan Utkan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 69thth minute of the game Franz Clifton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Erzincan FK's Alparslan Utkan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franz Clifton in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alparslan Utkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
