Joko Waluyo started the match with the kick off. Joko Waluyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alparslan Utkan having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Original Sabahan got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Fitriansyah. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eser Poyraz in the 20th minute of play forced Original Sabahan's goalkeeper Widodo Reza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Original Sabahan booed when Erzincan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baturay Tutkun didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cregan Elong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Joko Waluyo made a precise shot to the right of Alparslan Utkan. Erzincan FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joko Waluyo got free with Alparslan Utkan in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Widodo Reza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eser Poyraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 44th minute Saadettin Horasanlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Widodo Reza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eser Poyraz to make the kick off. Cregan Elong struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Alparslan Utkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Original Sabahan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joko Waluyo in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alparslan Utkan saved Erzincan FK from getting behind. 63 minutes into the match, Erzincan FK's goal looked a bit too open when Penn Cornelius came free, but Alparslan Utkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Widodo Reza made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Eser Poyraz sent off a good shot on target. Alparslan Utkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joko Waluyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Erzincan FK's Bora Ulusu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. A collision led to Erzincan FK getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Saadettin Horasanlı hit a great ball. After 76 minutes, kaya Aysan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erzincan FK and the Original Sabahan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Erzincan FK's kaya Aysan got a free kick in the 77th minute. Joko Waluyo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alparslan Utkan. Erzincan FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Original Sabahan booed when Erzincan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yahya Balkar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donnie Muchtaji hit a great ball. After 97 played minutes Erzincan FK got a freekick which was hit by Baturay Tutkun. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Original Sabahan fans cheered their team off the field, for while Erzincan FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
