Piedras Albas AFC's Patxi Rienda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Issac Dawson in the 36th minute of play. Marcos Bellido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Khalid Kennedy made a huge save. Patxi Rienda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Issac Dawson in the 42nd minute of the match. If Kyle Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jan Harendarski came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Piedras Albas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Harendarski couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Cox to make the kick off. Antolin De Paula charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antolin De Paula the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
