Khalid Kennedy was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Amerigo Locatelli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amerigo Locatelli really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Alberto Raiola scored 2-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Khalid Kennedy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Raiola in the 12th minute of play. Amerigo Locatelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Khalid Kennedy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amerigo Locatelli ran back to his position shaking his head. Enzo Bolognesi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Micah Macdonald in the 21st minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Amerigo Locatelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khalid Kennedy. England's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amerigo Locatelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 33 minutes into the game, Alberto Raiola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VERDENA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave England the free kick. After a rather tough play, VERDENA FC's Alberto Raiola got a free kick in the 33rd minute. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Leighton Davies hit a great ball. VERDENA FC were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after England's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eugenio Colecchia took the corner. Eugenio Colecchia made a great header on VERDENA FC's corner, it was just that England's Khalid Kennedy managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, VERDENA FC's Claudinho Sabóia got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Micah Macdonald kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Raiola in the 45th minute of play. Amerigo Locatelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Khalid Kennedy made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amerigo Locatelli made a kick off. Kyle Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute, Amerigo Locatelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Khalid Kennedy was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Amerigo Locatelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Micah Macdonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Enzo Bolognesi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Alberto Raiola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A nice corner shot did that Eugenio Colecchia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Khalid Kennedy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Raiola in the 82nd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. VERDENA FC fully deserved thier win.
