The White Eagles FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Matty Robson had several of the France's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 6 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Maxime Durand as he didn't even see the shot coming. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gez Eyre in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, France's Henry Robiquet got a free kick in the 15th minute. Sammy Clayson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maxime Durand. France's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Garry Cobb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Peletier in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Buckley in the 27th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matty Robson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Maxime Durand when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Maxime Durand was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Steve Buckley showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. Garry Cobb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. A collision led to White Eagles FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gregers Leinøe hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quentin Beaux during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of White Eagles FC booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Beaux didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matty Robson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Peletier to make the kick off. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gez Eyre in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Matty Robson managed to get in a good position for a shot. White Eagles FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matty Robson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to White Eagles FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jeffrey Barratt hit a great ball. In the 58th minute of the match David Barbier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Garry Cobb showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Gez Eyre managed to get in a good position for a shot. White Eagles FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gez Eyre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Buckley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matty Robson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. Alexis Bruneau kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. White Eagles FC's Matty Robson got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, White Eagles FC's goalkeeper Garry Cobb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Peletier. If Nial Corbett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matty Robson in the 91st minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, White Eagles FC's goalkeeper Garry Cobb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camille Baume. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The White Eagles FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while France had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
