When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Qiao Lei Quan sped through Rönnöfors FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Magne Gunnarsson. 17 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's Per Tunström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Melani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Magne Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qiao Lei Quan in the 43rd minute of the match. Sefa Borlu made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Rönnöfors FF's Bertil Hellgren. In the 45th minute Per Tunström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Melani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Girondins4Ever's goal looked a bit too open when Per Tunström came free, but Angelo Melani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Rönnöfors FF's Torsten Åman was substituted for Arne Stor. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dorian Colle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Rönnöfors FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Magne Gunnarsson should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per Tunström in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Melani saved Girondins4Ever from getting behind. Per Tunström might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Melani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per Tunström ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute Per Tunström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Melani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Girondins4Ever's Igor Thibault was substituted for Dorian Colle. Rönnöfors FF's Sigvard Biörnberg was substituted for Olimpiu Mirciulescu. Girondins4Ever's Mihai Ipate was substituted for Cao Peng Xiong. Girondins4Ever's Angelo Melani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Stenberg in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angelo Melani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Tunström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Igor Thibault had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Magne Gunnarsson. Rönnöfors FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Thibault was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. With a little luck, Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson got control of the ball when Igor Thibault tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rönnöfors FF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
