The ball went over the crossbar instead. 8 minutes into the match, Edoardo Filippini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmond Verdun. Errecaborda AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edoardo Filippini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Fred Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Edmond Verdun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edoardo Filippini came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Filippini in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Terra in the 17th minute of play forced Royal PSG's goalkeeper Tristan Bétourne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Edmond Verdun managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Royal PSG's Edoardo Filippini fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Royal PSG's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by André Luquet in the 21st minute. After taking down the ball on Royal PSG's corner André Luquet fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edmond Verdun quite easily take care of the ball. Edmond Verdun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edoardo Filippini showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. In the 25th minute, Fred Torres reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edmond Verdun. The goal made the score 3-0. The supporters of Royal PSG booed when Errecaborda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Ado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edoardo Filippini might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmond Verdun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edoardo Filippini ran back to his position shaking his head. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Filippini in the 31st minute of play. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Filippini in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Royal PSG's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Terra came free, but Tristan Bétourne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Errecaborda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Savion to maneuver through the defense. Edmond Verdun was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from André Luquet. Fred Torres struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Edmond Verdun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Royal PSG. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The supporters of Errecaborda AFC booed when Royal PSG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavien Villemin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Errecaborda AFC's Emílio Terra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tristan Bétourne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Tristan Bétourne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joe Tate's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. When Edoardo Filippini came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Royal PSG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edoardo Filippini couldn't finish the play. Tristan Bétourne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Jerardo in the 68th minute of play. When Royal PSG's Edoardo Filippini in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Valko De Hond made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Royal PSG's Bermund Arruda. André Luquet hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Edmond Verdun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Torres went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Errecaborda AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. André Luquet was slow to take the kick. During this time Royal PSG's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that André Luquet got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edmond Verdun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 97th minute of the match Royal PSG got a corner. Errecaborda AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. André Luquet ran over to the corner to take the kick.
