Rodrigo Azeari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Buceceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Armada fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Armada's Róbert Benkó looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rodrigo Azeari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Buceceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Färid Mondragón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luka Modrić in the 10th minute of play. Genaro Ticho hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Róbert Benkó left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Armada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 20th minute Luka Modrić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Färid Mondragón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Róbert Benkó succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 21st playminute. Rodrigo Azeari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbert Benkó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Färid Mondragón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elce Ko in the 33rd minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, eDp! Gaming FC's Elce Ko made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Färid Mondragón was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Róbert Benkó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the game, Evaristo Selmo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. eDp! Gaming FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Armada the free kick. In the 44th match minute, eDp! Gaming FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Selmo to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luka Modrić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gaming FC's Rodrigo Azeari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rivaldo Esquerdo in the 56th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Rivaldo Esquerdo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Azeari. eDp! Gaming FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rivaldo Esquerdo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. If Liviu Buceceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Róbert Benkó put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rodrigo Azeari. Rodrigo Azeari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rivaldo Esquerdo in the 67th minute of play. Färid Mondragón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luka Modrić, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Evaristo Selmo got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Armada booed when eDp! Gaming FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Urbez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Róbert Benkó scored 6-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Azeari, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute, Liviu Buceceanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Azeari was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. Armada's Vali Caramarin was substituted for Diego Maurino. 91 minutes into the match, Róbert Benkó notched a goal, 9-2, to the right of eDp! Gaming FC's Rodrigo Azeari. Rodrigo Azeari was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Liviu Buceceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armada's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
