In the 4th minute, Radomil Redisz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Qian Zheng Yi. The goal made the score 1-0. Manuel Tufescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Bellarabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC MCM's Manuel Tufescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Bellarabi in the 13th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elodio Ghinescu got free with Qian Zheng Yi in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Radomil Redisz came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the FC MCM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomil Redisz couldn't finish the play. FC MCM's Allan Clementsson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alban Marquier in the 23 minute of the game. After 24 minutes of play, FC MCM's Elodio Ghinescu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Qian Zheng Yi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Herblay booed when FC MCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corneliu Dragușin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Qian Zheng Yi made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Elodio Ghinescu sent off a good shot on target. Karim Bellarabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Tufescu having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radomil Redisz made a kick off. FC MCM's attentive Allan Clementsson managed to snatch the ball when Alban Marquier made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. Qian Zheng Yi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Redisz in the 69th minute of play. Ion Panduru hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. FC MCM made a substitution. Bogdan Agusoaei replaced Florin Gaciu. The supporters of Herblay booed when FC MCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Panduru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herblay's Qian Zheng Yi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Redisz in the 83rd minute of play. Qian Zheng Yi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Panduru, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. FC MCM's Manuel Tufescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Bellarabi in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC MCM's zone, Adam Raulin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Tufescu came out of the goal and Adam Raulin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radomil Redisz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qian Zheng Yi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Herblay's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC MCM had won, even though Herblay had held more of the ball.
