When Alphonse Auer fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Royal PSG's protests and gave Alphonse Auer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Tony Skarkman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Strömsbro IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Arne Bollström in the 17th minute of play forced Royal PSG's goalkeeper Bacary Filloux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Stig-Arne Bollström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bacary Filloux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bacary Filloux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Arne Bollström, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Kåre Mellbad fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strömsbro IF's protests and gave Kåre Mellbad a yellow card for diving instead. The throw-in from Kent Åström in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Royal PSG's Evan Dard. Bacary Filloux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Arne Bollström, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 44 minutes in the game Kent Åström did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jim Björkkvist. Alphonse Auer got his second yellow card in the match during the 44th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Bacary Filloux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Arne Bollström in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tony Skarkman was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Kåre Mellbad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Théodore Cordeau came free, but Magne Stephansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes Royal PSG got a freekick which was hit by Théodore Cordeau. Bacary Filloux was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tony Skarkman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 63 minute of play. Bacary Filloux made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Stig-Arne Bollström sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the match, Tony Skarkman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bacary Filloux, 0-3. 88 minutes into the game, Stig-Arne Bollström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Bacary Filloux was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bacary Filloux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Arne Bollström, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Royal PSG fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Strömsbro IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
