The audience thought a goal was coming when Radomil Redisz got free with Carlos Germano in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Germano stood somewhat misplaced when Radomil Redisz came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 37 minute. 39 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ion Panduru. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Redisz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC MCM's Leontin Toma managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edgard Barros in the 91 minute of the game. In the 92nd match minute, FC MCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Agusoaei to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Berdoi in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Tufescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
