Radomil Redisz started the match with the kick off. A collision led to FC MCM getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Elodio Ghinescu hit a great ball. Manuel Tufescu made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Gigel Gologan sent off a good shot on target. In the 6th minute Elodio Ghinescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Sotero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filip Pantiș's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Manuel Tufescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 19 minutes into the game, Cristi Dulca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eintracht Cernavoda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC MCM the free kick. In the 19th minute, Cristi Dulca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustacio Sotero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elodio Ghinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Redisz in the 22nd minute of play forced Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Eustacio Sotero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 played minutes FC MCM got a freekick which was hit by Elodio Ghinescu. When Ion Panduru fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC MCM's protests and gave Ion Panduru a yellow card for diving instead. Ion Panduru kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Eintracht Cernavoda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nechifor Ibrișin to maneuver through the defense. Elodio Ghinescu took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustacio Sotero. Eustacio Sotero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Eintracht Cernavoda's Cristi Dulca got a free kick in the 35th minute. Eustacio Sotero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Redisz in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elodio Ghinescu in the 39th minute of play forced Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Eustacio Sotero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustacio Sotero didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC MCM's Elodio Ghinescu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Eintracht Cernavoda's Eustacio Sotero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elodio Ghinescu in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Eintracht Cernavoda's Codrin Izbașa was substituted for Grigore Boacă. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Pantiș during the 52nd minute. Eustacio Sotero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Redisz, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Eustacio Sotero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radomil Redisz in the 67th minute. Eintracht Cernavoda's Eustacio Sotero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Eintracht Cernavoda from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goal looked a bit too open when Codrin Izbașa came free, but Manuel Tufescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustacio Sotero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC MCM. In the 91st match minute, FC MCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelu Amitroaiei to maneuver through the defense. When Filip Pantiș was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 97 minutes had been played. The supporters of FC MCM booed when Eintracht Cernavoda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Pantiș didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Redisz in the 99th minute of play forced Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Eustacio Sotero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
