After a rather tough play, BVB 09's Francisc Bîndean got a free kick in the 10th minute. Herblay's Qian Zheng Yi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iacob Vernescu in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute BVB 09 were awarded a corner. Petre Coporan went to the cornerflag to take it. Petre Coporan made a great header on BVB 09's corner, it was just that Herblay's Qian Zheng Yi managed to reach the ball for a save. Qian Zheng Yi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Vernescu in the 19th minute of play. Zygmunt Koprowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karim Bellarabi went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Bellarabi came free, but Zygmunt Koprowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Karim Bellarabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zygmunt Koprowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Karim Bellarabi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Herblay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. BVB 09's Zygmunt Koprowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Testu in the 32nd minute of play. Qian Zheng Yi came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by BVB 09's Iacob Vernescu. But to his dismay, Iacob Vernescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Iacob Vernescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Qian Zheng Yi having to make a save. Qian Zheng Yi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Vernescu in the 41st minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisc Bîndean to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, BVB 09's Iacob Vernescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Qian Zheng Yi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zygmunt Koprowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karim Bellarabi in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Herblay booed when BVB 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Iurea didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, BVB 09's Iacob Vernescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Qian Zheng Yi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 58 minutes Herblay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Petre Coporan who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Calistrat Spirea heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 61st match minute, BVB 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codrin Ieremia to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Zygmunt Koprowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Qian Zheng Yi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iacob Vernescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zygmunt Koprowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Testu in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Herblay defense, Iacob Vernescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Qian Zheng Yi. The Herblay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Qian Zheng Yi should have stopped the shot. BVB 09's Florin Chilian was substituted for Avram Iurea. BVB 09's Moise Cristoloveanu was substituted for Iacob Vernescu. Qian Zheng Yi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moise Cristoloveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After taking down the ball on BVB 09's corner Petre Coporan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Qian Zheng Yi quite easily take care of the ball. The corner ended in Ioan Balint almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Herblay's Qian Zheng Yi did a great save. 80 minutes into the game, BVB 09's Ioan Balint nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Qian Zheng Yi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Raulin during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 97th match minute, Herblay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Raulin to maneuver through the defense. The BVB 09 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
