An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Cutberto in the 21st minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Magne Stephansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magne Stephansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Cutberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magne Stephansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Cutberto in the 25th minute of the match. Carlos Germano made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Stig-Arne Bollström sent off a good shot on target. If Stig-Arne Bollström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Berdoi to make the kick off. Magne Stephansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Jaizki in the 53rd minute of play. Strömsbro IF's Sven-Ove Finnman got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Arne Bollström, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Stig-Arne Bollström made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Germano. Club Atlético Atlanta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0.
