The referee ignored Twelve Ravens's protests and gave Pietro Turrieta a yellow card for diving instead. Pietro Turrieta kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Roland Vanden Broucke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dé 武松's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Vanden Broucke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Wauters in the 8th minute of play forced Twelve Ravens's goalkeeper Roland Vanden Broucke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Twelve Ravens's Roland Vanden Broucke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Heinz Kaltz in the 10th minute of play. Roland Vanden Broucke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Heinz Kaltz in the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of KFC Cromvelde booed when Twelve Ravens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yanick Goosens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinard Hennes, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Roland Vanden Broucke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Kaltz in the 26th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Twelve Ravens's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Heinz Kaltz came free, but Roland Vanden Broucke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roland Vanden Broucke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dé 武松 went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Reinard Hennes took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Louis Van Bever. Jean-Louis Van Bever dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Reinard Hennes might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean-Louis Van Bever. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reinard Hennes ran back to his position shaking his head. 39 minutes into the match, Twelve Ravens's goal looked a bit too open when Dé 武松 came free, but Roland Vanden Broucke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reinard Hennes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henry Åkesson made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Reinard Hennes notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever. Jean-Louis Van Bever was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Twelve Ravens's Roland Vanden Broucke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Twelve Ravens from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reinard Hennes in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-Louis Van Bever saved KFC Cromvelde from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Reinard Hennes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinard Hennes, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 64 minutes KFC Cromvelde's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lennart De Coster who took care of the corner kick. 66 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Reinard Hennes came free, but Jean-Louis Van Bever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dé 武松 took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roland Vanden Broucke. Roland Vanden Broucke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. KFC Cromvelde's Jochen Van den Panhuizen was substituted for Joel Barcelos. In the 74thth minute of the game Vicent Duranseau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roland Vanden Broucke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathijs Rokeloos in the 82nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KFC Cromvelde's Karl-Heinz Kaltz got a free kick in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Mathijs Rokeloos notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Twelve Ravens's Roland Vanden Broucke. Roland Vanden Broucke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dé 武松 got free with Roland Vanden Broucke in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
