An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Tan in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Gullegem's goalkeeper Axell Verduin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axell Verduin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Tan in the 13th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Barnaba Pilsudski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joos Teurfs. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. After a rather tough play, North Hill United's Tommi Van Der Meren got a free kick in the 28th minute. Barnaba Pilsudski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. North Hill United's Joos Teurfs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save North Hill United from getting a goal against them. Joos Teurfs made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Barnaba Pilsudski sent off a good shot on target. In the 34thth minute of the game Barnaba Pilsudski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but North Hill United's Joos Teurfs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When FC Gullegem's Barnaba Pilsudski in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye North Hill United's goalie prevented a goal. North Hill United's Joos Teurfs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save North Hill United from getting a goal against them. A collision led to FC Gullegem getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Pieter Teurfs hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Tan in the 41st minute of play forced FC Gullegem's goalkeeper Axell Verduin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axell Verduin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexander Tan went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexander Tan in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axell Verduin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexander Tan made a kick off. A collision led to FC Gullegem getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Pieter Teurfs hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Tan in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Axell Verduin saved FC Gullegem from getting behind. 57 minutes in the game, Alexander Tan dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When Joe Vandamme fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Gullegem's protests and gave Joe Vandamme a yellow card for diving instead. Joe Vandamme kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. North Hill United made a substitution. Jim Roussel replaced Tommi Van Der Meren. North Hill United's Nils De Geutter was substituted for Carel Impens. The supporters of North Hill United booed when FC Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Vandamme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joos Teurfs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaba Pilsudski in the 73rd minute of the match. North Hill United made a substitution. Hondo De Hond made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Gullegem's Jörgen Norberg. If Steff Berckmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Gullegem getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mats Vanooteghem hit a great ball. North Hill United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
