Kuido Undusk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Recife in the 19th minute of the match. Hermelando Coello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Atay Türegün made a huge save. In the 24th minute Wágner Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuido Undusk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eendracht Vooruit's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Durval Aparecido scored to the left of an out of position Atay Türegün, making the score, 1-0. If Hermelando Coello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Eendracht Vooruit's Atay Türegün got control of the ball when Hermelando Coello tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hermelando Coello was the one to do the kick off. Kuido Undusk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wágner Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eendracht Vooruit's Atay Türegün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Aparecido in the 56th minute of play. Atay Türegün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durval Aparecido in the 66th minute of the match. Eendracht Vooruit's attentive Mihai Encea managed to snatch the ball when Nic Van Gestelt made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Atay Türegün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermelando Coello, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Les Presidents FC's Kuido Undusk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommi Armentier in the 90th minute of play. Les Presidents FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zbigniew Narbut in the 96th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Gregory Thielemans heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
