If Dan Kjellman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 4 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Kjellman came free, but Ulises Steven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Alex Koit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Davies saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Bal op het Dak's Harvey Davies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 11th minute of play. Ulises Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Kjellman in the 18th minute of play. With an all-out effort, FC Bal op het Dak's Ulises Steven threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dan Kjellman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Harvey Davies showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robertinho Carabajal, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Robertinho Carabajal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harvey Davies was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With an all-out effort, FC Bal op het Dak's Ulises Steven threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dan Kjellman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. FC Bal op het Dak's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marick Brunt in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

FC Bal op het Dak's Iwan Valentijn was substituted for Aristides Gombal. Christer Sunde made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hendrik-Jan Huysmans immediately put the ball in play. FC Bal op het Dak's Martijn August was substituted for Dan Kjellman. In the 70th match minute, AFC Koolkerke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philipp Raemakers to maneuver through the defense. After 71 played minutes AFC Koolkerke got a freekick which was hit by Philipp Raemakers. In the 73rd minute, Philipp Raemakers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martijn August in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulises Steven saved AFC Koolkerke from getting behind. In the 77th minute Martijn August shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harvey Davies made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Joseph Smits sent off a good shot on target. Harvey Davies showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robertinho Carabajal in the 83rd minute of the match. Harvey Davies took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robertinho Carabajal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harvey Davies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertinho Carabajal in the 92nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle.
