Willem-Jan Grootjans kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in The Everett Hawks's zone, Artur Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludo Vanden Bossche came out of the goal and Artur Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The wind increased when Dan Kjellman made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind The Everett Hawks's goalkeeper Ludo Vanden Bossche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Harvey Davies showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philippe-Arnaud Heremans in the 60th minute of the match. If Fre van Eijnde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Martijn August replaced Dan Kjellman. Martijn August's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludo Vanden Bossche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martijn August in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ludo Vanden Bossche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, FC Bal op het Dak's Artur Mendes got a free kick in the 95th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
