Rene Vereijt was left in no man's land by his defense there! William Westelinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th minute William Westelinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joos Teurfs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Vereijt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yao Zhou Jian in the 20th minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, William Westelinx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ouagadougou National's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Westelinx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th match minute, FC Ouagadougou National was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karim Sia to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Karim Sia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Vereijt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Tan, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 38 minutes into the game, William Westelinx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Joos Teurfs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jedrzej Kiszkiel got free with Joos Teurfs in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rene Vereijt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Tan in the 47th minute of the match.

FC Ouagadougou National's Hamza Yavaş was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joos Teurfs in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulla Baia in the 88th minute of play forced North Hill United's goalkeeper Joos Teurfs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
