Steven Homan might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lou Wegers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The wind increased when Steven Homan made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, de belletrekkers's Kurt de Rudder got a free kick in the 54th minute. With his leg Lou Wegers managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Steven Homan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulus Van Hove sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steven Homan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lou Wegers having to make a save. In the 87th minute Paulus Van Hove shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Zoethout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steven Homans short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Lou Wegers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The SV Balverliefd supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SV Balverliefd would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
