Laurence Van Den Abeele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robertinho Carabajal, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that Wolf De Hond's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulises Steven was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Fabrizio Di Muzio's late challenge caught a Apricis Bruxella's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabrizio Di Muzio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th match minute, AFC Koolkerke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrizio Di Muzio to maneuver through the defense. AFC Koolkerke's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armand Steenberghs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.
