Laurence Van Den Abeele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamza Yavaş in the 7th minute of the match. Rene Vereijt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armand Steenberghs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Vereijt was a little too slow when Wolf De Hond got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. FC Ouagadougou National's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Wolf De Hond scored to the left of an out of position Rene Vereijt, making the score, 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Rene Vereijt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armand Steenberghs. 25 minutes into the match, Jedrzej Kiszkiel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laurence Van Den Abeele. Apricis Bruxella's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jedrzej Kiszkiel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Apricis Bruxella's Laurence Van Den Abeele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dani Rojas in the 30th minute of play. Laurens Vercammen hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulla Baia in the 34th minute of play forced Apricis Bruxella's goalkeeper Laurence Van Den Abeele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Apricis Bruxella's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulla Baia came free, but Laurence Van Den Abeele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Rene Vereijt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armand Steenberghs. 41 minutes into the game, FC Ouagadougou National's Abdulla Baia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jedrzej Kiszkiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Laurence Van Den Abeele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
