Yorrick Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Recife in the 11th minute of the match. Eendracht Vooruit's Atay Türegün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melker Gudmundsson in the 12th minute of play. When Eendracht Vooruit's Wágner Recife in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SV Balverliefd's goalie prevented a goal. Yorrick Zoethout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Recife in the 18th minute of play. Mihai Encea was slow to take the kick. During this time Eendracht Vooruit's players had a chance to rest. Jiang Zhen Sen was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steven Homan got free with Atay Türegün in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the SV Balverliefd defense, Wágner Recife kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yorrick Zoethout. The SV Balverliefd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yorrick Zoethout should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute, Wágner Recife left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eendracht Vooruit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Eendracht Vooruit's Atay Türegün proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Eendracht Vooruit from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the match, Eendracht Vooruit's goal looked a bit too open when Melker Gudmundsson came free, but Atay Türegün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melker Gudmundsson in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atay Türegün saved Eendracht Vooruit from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steven Homan to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Wágner Recife kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yorrick Zoethout. That made the score 0-4 in the 53 minute of play. Atay Türegün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melker Gudmundsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Eendracht Vooruit's Atay Türegün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melker Gudmundsson in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SV Balverliefd's Heiko Iepstra got a free kick in the 66th minute. Yorrick Zoethout stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wágner Recife's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Yorrick Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Recife in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rdth minute of the game Wágner Recife who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 81 minutes, Wágner Recife made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melker Gudmundsson in the 83rd minute of play forced Eendracht Vooruit's goalkeeper Atay Türegün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atay Türegün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melker Gudmundsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Yorrick Zoethout was a little too slow when Wágner Recife got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-6. After a defensive mix-up in Eendracht Vooruit's zone, Steven Homan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atay Türegün came out of the goal and Steven Homan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
