The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Coronel Camba got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Mihai Encea hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Eendracht Vooruit's Gery Burhanuddin was substituted for Wágner Recife. Atay Türegün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armand Steenberghs in the 65th minute of the match. Atay Türegün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armand Steenberghs, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Eendracht Vooruit's Atay Türegün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armand Steenberghs in the 70th minute of play. Atay Türegün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armand Steenberghs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armand Steenberghs took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atay Türegün. A collision led to Eendracht Vooruit getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Hong Sha Sang hit a great ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Armand Steenberghs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apricis Bruxella's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armand Steenberghs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wolf De Hond in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atay Türegün prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Apricis Bruxella had played much better football throughout.
