The Twelve Ravens fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roland Vanden Broucke should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Alexander Tan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roland Vanden Broucke was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, one of Twelve Ravens:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Twelve Ravens. In the 42nd minute, Alexander Tan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roland Vanden Broucke was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Roland Vanden Broucke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Tan, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. A collision led to North Hill United getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Yao Zhou Jian hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reinard Hennes to make the kick off. Alexander Tan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Roland Vanden Broucke made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexander Tan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roland Vanden Broucke. That made the score 1-4 in the 69 minute of play. Twelve Ravens's Lennart De Coster got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexander Tan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Vanden Broucke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Hondo De Hond made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Twelve Ravens's Leo Verstappen. Twelve Ravens's Pierre Van Hinnendael suffered a sore thigh after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 84 minutes into the game, Hondo De Hond was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Hill United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Twelve Ravens the free kick. In the 86th match minute, North Hill United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hondo De Hond to maneuver through the defense. North Hill United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
