With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommi Armentier in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulises Steven saved AFC Koolkerke from getting behind. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Tommi Armentier sped through AFC Koolkerke's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ulises Steven. Ulises Steven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang Zhen Sen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AFC Koolkerke's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Clóvis Bittencourt in the 15th minute. In the 24th minute, Fabrizio Di Muzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihai Encea got free with Ulises Steven in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the game, Eendracht Vooruit's Jiang Zhen Sen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulises Steven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Atay Türegün came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Koolkerke's Robertinho Carabajal. But to his dismay, Robertinho Carabajal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 39th minute of play forced Eendracht Vooruit's goalkeeper Atay Türegün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atay Türegün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robertinho Carabajal in the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of AFC Koolkerke booed when Eendracht Vooruit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balu De Hond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulises Steven made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Tommi Armentier sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robertinho Carabajal made a kick off. Eendracht Vooruit's Atay Türegün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 52nd minute of play. Robertinho Carabajal might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atay Türegün. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robertinho Carabajal ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robertinho Carabajal got free with Atay Türegün in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Balu De Hond in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AFC Koolkerke's Tommie Jorna. If Robertinho Carabajal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atay Türegün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertinho Carabajal in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Koolkerke's zone, Gery Burhanuddin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Steven came out of the goal and Gery Burhanuddin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulises Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gery Burhanuddin in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eendracht Vooruit's goalkeeper Atay Türegün, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Mihai Encea came free, but Ulises Steven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Mihai Encea came free, but Ulises Steven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robertinho Carabajal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute Robertinho Carabajal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atay Türegün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurent Verhaghe kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. AFC Koolkerke's Tommie Jorna quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Balu De Hond, made in the 88th minute of the game. Ulises Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiang Zhen Sen in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Eendracht Vooruit had won after a very even match.
