The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute of the match, Wolf De Hond tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Axell Verduin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice moves Armand Steenberghs could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Axell Verduin however easily saved by the left post. A throw-in in the 14th minute of the game was made by Diedrik Jamieson with Gencer Korkutalp as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wolf De Hond in the 17th minute of play forced FC Gullegem's goalkeeper Axell Verduin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute of the match, Armand Steenberghs got a very nice opportunity to score, but Axell Verduin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 26th minute Wolf De Hond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axell Verduin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Gertjan De Geyter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Axell Verduin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolf De Hond in the 31st minute of play. Axell Verduin made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Armand Steenberghs sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barnaba Pilsudski in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurence Van Den Abeele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Wolf De Hond came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Apricis Bruxella fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wolf De Hond couldn't finish the play. Axell Verduin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armand Steenberghs in the 48th minute.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Wolf De Hond who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, FC Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Armand Steenberghs came free, but Axell Verduin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axell Verduin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armand Steenberghs in the 62nd minute of the match. Axell Verduin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wolf De Hond, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Diedrik Jamieson threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Gullegem's Matty Bormans quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 72 minutes into the match, Apricis Bruxella's goalkeeper Laurence Van Den Abeele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barnaba Pilsudski. FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armand Steenberghs in the 74th minute of play. Axell Verduin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coronel Camba in the 80th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 82 minutes into the game, when Gertjan De Geyter put in a rough tackle. FC Gullegem's Jonathan Vrijdag was substituted for Joe Vandamme. In the 82nd minute, one of FC Gullegem:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Gullegem. Axell Verduin had in the 85thth minute some difficulties stopping Wolf De Hond's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a long run with the ball, Wolf De Hond did a trick in the 85th minute in front of FC Gullegem's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-0. An impressive performance by Apricis Bruxella's Wolf De Hond! Armand Steenberghs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Axell Verduin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armand Steenberghs in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Axell Verduin saved FC Gullegem from getting behind. Axell Verduin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolf De Hond in the 94th minute of play. Waut Du Molin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Laurence Van Den Abeele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apricis Bruxella's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
