In the 3rd minute, Bernd Richter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arvid Wacker took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Herbert Scherpp. Saase Dynamite's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrich Pickartz in the 5th minute of play forced Saase Dynamite's goalkeeper Herbert Scherpp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saase Dynamite's Herbert Scherpp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wolfgang Schürhoff in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingo Häusle in the 12th minute of play forced Saase Dynamite's goalkeeper Herbert Scherpp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Scherpp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrich Pickartz in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Saase Dynamite's Ingo Deutsch got a free kick in the 17th minute. The supporters of Tiger booed when Saase Dynamite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Schütz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 minutes of play, Tiger's Ingo Häusle made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herbert Scherpp was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 30 played minutes Saase Dynamite got a freekick which was hit by Bernd Richter. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrich Pickartz in the 34th minute of play forced Saase Dynamite's goalkeeper Herbert Scherpp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiger's Rolf Matzken got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingo Häusle in the 37th minute of play forced Saase Dynamite's goalkeeper Herbert Scherpp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Scherpp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrich Pickartz in the 41st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingo Häusle in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Scherpp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, Saase Dynamite's goal looked a bit too open when Kayacan Tahir came free, but Herbert Scherpp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolf Matzken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saase Dynamite's Herbert Scherpp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulrich Pickartz in the 47th minute of play. Herbert Scherpp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roope Pärssinen in the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucien Thielscher was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Saase Dynamite's Herbert Scherpp got control of the ball when Wolfgang Schürhoff tried to sneak it across the goal line. Herbert Scherpp was a little too slow when Roope Pärssinen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-4. Tiger made a substitution. Antonius Zagermann replaced Olgierd Lato. Kayacan Tahir took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herbert Scherpp. Herbert Scherpp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Ulrich Pickartz scored 0-6 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Scherpp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rolf Matzken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Saase Dynamite's zone, Rolf Matzken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Scherpp came out of the goal and Rolf Matzken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ken Raus succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 76th playminute. Herbert Scherpp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingo Häusle in the 82nd minute of play. After 85th play minutes Ulrich Pickartz shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Herbert Scherpp and just under the crossbar into goal. Herbert Scherpp was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Ulrich Pickartz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ulrich Pickartz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9.
