SV Bad Harzburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Schira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Volker Timmermann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 6 played minutes PoznanGalaxy got a freekick which was hit by Timofej Fülberth. PoznanGalaxy's Volker Timmermann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save PoznanGalaxy from getting a goal against them. If Luis Piepenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SV Bad Harzburg booed when PoznanGalaxy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claus Caßemayer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45thth minute of the game Marc Richter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PoznanGalaxy's Volker Timmermann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tim Wiese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Fograscher in the 46th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Richter in the 52nd minute of play forced PoznanGalaxy's goalkeeper Volker Timmermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led SV Bad Harzburg's Marc Richter to fire away a dangerous shot which Volker Timmermann despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lucas Oster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Volker Timmermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marc Richter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marc Richter in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Volker Timmermann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Lars Schira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PoznanGalaxy's Volker Timmermann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Richter in the 74th minute of play. Adam Lücker might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tim Wiese. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Lücker ran back to his position shaking his head. After 77 minutes of play, PoznanGalaxy's Fritz Fograscher made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tim Wiese was left in no man's land by his defense there! André Neubauer kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes PoznanGalaxy got a freekick which was hit by Luis Piepenburg. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marc Richter in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Volker Timmermann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marc Richter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volker Timmermann having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in PoznanGalaxy's zone, Lucas Oster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Volker Timmermann came out of the goal and Lucas Oster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claus Caßemayer's late challenge caught a SV Bad Harzburg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claus Caßemayer helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes PoznanGalaxy got a freekick which was hit by Claus Caßemayer.
