Tiger's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. KFC Uerdingen 05's Vilgot Fransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulko Schwaderer in the 16th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, Tiger's Fulko Schwaderer made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vilgot Fransson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as KFC Uerdingen 05's Julian Froylan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wolf Poll. That made the score 2-1 after 21 minutes of play. Ulrich Pickartz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilgot Fransson having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Froylan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vilgot Fransson made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Ulrich Pickartz sent off a good shot on target. If Fulko Schwaderer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tiger's Fulko Schwaderer got a free kick in the 96th minute.
