The Decathlon Dudes fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Decathlon Dudes's Chiel Middeljans looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Chiel Middeljans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Decathlon Dudes's Juan Ayuso got a free kick in the 16th minute. Adriano Tolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Ayuso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Decathlon Dudes's goal looked a bit too open when Dobromir Robev came free, but Fabian Janssens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Raas in the 22nd minute of play forced DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Adriano Tolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Juan Ayuso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Tolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Niggemann hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Decathlon Dudes's Jan Raas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Adriano Tolin but with some difficulty. The crowd rose to their feet as Decathlon Dudes's Juan Ayuso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adriano Tolin. That made the score 2-0 after 45 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chiel Middeljans to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Henrik Jobst mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DJK Füchtel Vechta and the Decathlon Dudes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes DJK Füchtel Vechta got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Jobst. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by DJK Füchtel Vechta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jan Raas was slow to take the kick. During this time Decathlon Dudes's players had a chance to rest. Decathlon Dudes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jan Raas in the 56th minute. The corner led Decathlon Dudes's Jan Raas to fire away a dangerous shot which Adriano Tolin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Adriano Tolin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Raas in the 63rd minute of the match. Adriano Tolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Raas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. DJK Füchtel Vechta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Dobromir Robev kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabian Janssens. That made the score 5-1 in the 87 minute of play. Daan Wegman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Adriano Tolin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the DJK Füchtel Vechta defense, Chiel Middeljans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adriano Tolin. The DJK Füchtel Vechta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adriano Tolin should have stopped the shot. Decathlon Dudes's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
