Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Olivier Ostermann made the kick off which started today's match. When Vincent Waibel fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Möhnsen FC's protests and gave Vincent Waibel a yellow card for diving instead. Vincent Waibel hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Roland Cirella kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 7 played minutes Möhnsen FC got a freekick which was hit by Xerxes Kamper. Joseph Reichardt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yann Wirz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lew Maurer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricky Bonhoeffer. The supporters of Möhnsen FC booed when FC Wil 1900 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benoit Lukas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lew Maurer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricky Bonhoeffer, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Lew Maurer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xerxes Kamper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Roland Cirella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Reichardt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sidney Seiler fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Wil 1900's protests and gave Sidney Seiler a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Seiler. In the 27th minute, Vincent Waibel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tran Brünisholz hit a great ball. In the 48th minute Lasse Linsert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lew Maurer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricky Bonhoeffer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lasse Linsert during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Wil 1900 getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Karim Gerber hit a great ball. Möhnsen FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lasse Linsert in the 57th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Wil 1900's goalie and right to Leo Emmerich. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Wil 1900's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Möhnsen FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Xerxes Kamper hit a great ball. Möhnsen FC's Joseph Reichardt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Möhnsen FC from getting a goal against them. Elia Walther received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joseph Reichardt came out and tried to block the shot, but Elia Walther slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 72nd minute. In the 80th match minute, FC Wil 1900 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Popcorn Knoblauch to maneuver through the defense. Joseph Reichardt was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Karim Gerber capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karim Gerber really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. If Karim Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xerxes Kamper in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lew Maurer saved FC Wil 1900 from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Roland Cirella got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Mo Canel charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mo Canel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Möhnsen FC got a freekick which was hit by Mo Canel. FC Wil 1900's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
