Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiel Middeljans in the 5th minute of play forced FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lew Maurer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilco Keldermans was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Elia Walther got a free kick in the 12th minute. Fabian Janssens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivier Ostermann in the 16th minute of play. Fabian Janssens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olivier Ostermann in the 21st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Ayuso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lew Maurer. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. Juan Ayuso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Lew Maurer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Chiel Middeljans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lew Maurer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Wil 1900's zone, Chiel Middeljans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lew Maurer came out of the goal and Chiel Middeljans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Popcorn Knoblauch fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Wil 1900's protests and gave Popcorn Knoblauch a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Wil 1900 getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Popcorn Knoblauch hit a great ball. In the 42nd match minute, FC Wil 1900 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elia Walther to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olivier Ostermann made a kick off. When Decathlon Dudes's Chiel Middeljans in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Wil 1900's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56thth minute of the game Chiel Middeljans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wil 1900's Lew Maurer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lew Maurer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Ayuso in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Wil 1900's zone, Chiel Middeljans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lew Maurer came out of the goal and Chiel Middeljans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the game, Decathlon Dudes's Chiel Middeljans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lew Maurer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Juan Ayuso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Chiel Middeljans came free, but Lew Maurer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lew Maurer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilco Keldermans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jan Raas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Tran Brünisholz got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Decathlon Dudes's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
