The audience thought a goal was coming when Chiel Middeljans got free with Vilgot Fransson in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chiel Middeljans came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vilgot Fransson could save by the left post. Wilco Keldermans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Vilgot Fransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Luo Ying Liang fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Uerdingen 05's protests and gave Luo Ying Liang a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KFC Uerdingen 05 getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Luo Ying Liang hit a great ball. KFC Uerdingen 05 made a substitution. Brian Laudrup replaced Julian Froylan. Vilgot Fransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the match, Decathlon Dudes's goal looked a bit too open when Luo Ying Liang came free, but Fabian Janssens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Decathlon Dudes's Daan Wegman got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabian Janssens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrizio Nowak, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Decathlon Dudes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KFC Uerdingen 05.
