Herbert Scherpp was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olivier Ostermann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Yann Wirz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Herbert Scherpp made a huge save. Herbert Scherpp made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Roland Cirella sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute Yann Wirz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Scherpp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Scherpp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yann Wirz in the 14th minute. Karim Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Saase Dynamite's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Roland Cirella scored to the left of an out of position Herbert Scherpp, making the score, 2-0. After 22 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Benoit Lukas. Enrique Barakat hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Herbert Scherpp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Cirella in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olivier Ostermann got free with Herbert Scherpp in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucien Thielscher was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Saase Dynamite's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Cirella came free, but Herbert Scherpp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saase Dynamite's Herbert Scherpp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Cirella in the 55th minute of play. When Roland Cirella came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the FC Wil 1900 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Cirella couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olivier Ostermann in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herbert Scherpp saved Saase Dynamite from getting behind. The supporters of Saase Dynamite booed when FC Wil 1900 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that FC Wil 1900 were the better team. FC Wil 1900's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
