Dan Elg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. After 4 played minutes, Germany's Albin Holweck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Magne Rudkvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Germany reached it. 5 minutes into the game, Chris Mergenthaler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolltrillarnas BK the free kick. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Germany's Sven Krakouer seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sven Krakouer the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Germany protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sven Krakouer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 8th minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Samuel Olofsson in the 9th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Tommy Kahn's left hand side. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Elg, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute Bolltrillarnas BK were awarded a corner. Valdemar Dahlberg went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Bolltrillarnas BK's Andrei Joithe to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Kahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Elg came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Elg came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Andrei Joithe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magne Rudkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Reine Dahlgren came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Bolltrillarnas BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reine Dahlgren couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, one of Germany:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Germany. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dan Elg was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Dan Elg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolltrillarnas BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Elg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reine Dahlgren in the 53rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Dan Elg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Elg came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match Bolltrillarnas BK got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valdemar Dahlberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 65th minute, Frank Sachs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tord Kellman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Dan Elg sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. 75 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Elg came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Elg in the 78th minute of play. Samuel Olofsson made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Andrei Joithe. Reine Dahlgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Elg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Dan Elg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bolltrillarnas BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
