Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC Jena-Nord 02's Raiko Kündgen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Jena-Nord 02's Eric McThomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 6th minute of play. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute Paul Jöckel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric McThomas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nessos Andreoulakis in the 24th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boros Benedek hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raiko Kündgen in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. When Takacs Tibor came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Takacs Tibor couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute, Vörös Henrik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. A collision led to FC Jena-Nord 02 getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Eusebio Atauri hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, FC Jena-Nord 02's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Eric McThomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Raiko Kündgen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Jena-Nord 02's supporters rose to their feet, but Raiko Kündgen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eric McThomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 43rd minute of play. Paul Jöckel hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Leroy Rösch came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48thth minute of the game Raiko Kündgen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric McThomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Jena-Nord 02's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of FC Jena-Nord 02 booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takacs Tibor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raiko Kündgen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric McThomas having to interfere. The supporters of Hungary booed when FC Jena-Nord 02 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Eric McThomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Froilan Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Jena-Nord 02's protests and gave Froilan Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. Froilan Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Jena-Nord 02's Eric McThomas. Eric McThomas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th minute Paul Jöckel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric McThomas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Balazs Lajos fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Balazs Lajos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Balazs Lajos hit a great ball. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
