André Luiz Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateus Alves was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of AVAÍ F.C. booed when Alfonso Ugarte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. James Argandoña didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Alfonso Ugarte's Jaunti Amoros got a free kick in the 79th minute. Saturnino Lujan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 0-7. Joaquim Ceressos short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Saturnino Lujan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joaquim Ceresso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Saturnino Lujan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the final whistle sounded AVAÍ F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alfonso Ugarte.
