The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Mateus Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 叶夕银 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Penha in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 叶夕银 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mateus Alves came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 叶夕银 could save by the left post. Igor Bohn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 何战常 in the 12th minute of the match. 叶夕银 made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Mateus Alves sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th minute Augusto Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 叶夕银 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s Augusto Penha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 叶夕银 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of 上海杨浦联队 booed when AVAÍ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. 何战常 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Bohn having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AVAÍ F.C.'s Fernandão Arce got a free kick in the 31st minute. 叶夕银 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 何战常 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Bohn having to interfere. In the 46th minute, one of 上海杨浦联队:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 上海杨浦联队. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 47th minute, where AVAÍ F.C.:s Augusto Penha tricked 上海杨浦联队:s 叶夕银 with a difficult ball by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 何战常 made a kick off. Igor Bohn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 何战常, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, 上海杨浦联队's 俞崇岚 got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 叶夕银 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Poveda in the 56th minute of play. 唐桦荣 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Igor Bohn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 吕斐适 hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Augusto Penha, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Mateus Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The AVAÍ F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when AVAÍ F.C.'s Gabriel Poveda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Augusto Penha came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the AVAÍ F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Penha couldn't finish the play. AVAÍ F.C. made a substitution. Anderson Mattos replaced Gabriel Poveda. 上海杨浦联队's 叶夕银 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Mattos in the 81st minute of play. Augusto Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 叶夕银 having to interfere. 俞崇岚 hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Anderson Mattos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 叶夕银 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Mattos in the 86th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Anderson Mattos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 叶夕银 was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After some careless play in the 上海杨浦联队 defense, Anderson Mattos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 叶夕银. The 上海杨浦联队 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 叶夕银 should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that AVAÍ F.C. were the better team. AVAÍ F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
