An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosif Doicaru in the 7th minute of play forced Desportivo Coala's goalkeeper Bernardinho Sharkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Rasnita's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Moraes came free, but Manuel Hogaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastião Moraes scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Hogaș, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iosif Doicaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Hogaș was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Sebastião Moraes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sebastião Moraes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Desportivo Coala's Bernardinho Sharkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Maleș in the 24th minute of play. Manuel Hogaș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Bernardinho Sharkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Stoiciu in the 27th minute of the match. If Gheorghe Stoiciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Rasnita's Manuel Hogaș got control of the ball when Sebastião Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coala's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Stoiciu came free, but Bernardinho Sharkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Sebastião Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desportivo Coala's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastião Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Hogaș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bogdan Calboreanu hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Desportivo Coala were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Rasnita's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adriano Massa took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Adriano Massa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Hogaș quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastião Moraes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iosif Doicaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardinho Sharkin having to interfere. Paulinho Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Rasnita's Augustin Tănăsie shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bernardinho Sharkin but with some difficulty. Rasnita's Bogdan Calboreanu got his second yellow card of the match in the 65th minute. The referee ordered Bogdan Calboreanu off the ground. After 66 played minutes Rasnita got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Calboreanu. Manuel Hogaș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute, Alex Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desportivo Coala's Maurinho Maringá was substituted for Sebastião Moraes. The supporters of Rasnita booed when Desportivo Coala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Maurinho Maringá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Desportivo Coala getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Marcos Monteiro hit a great ball. Bernardinho Sharkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Condrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gheorghe Stoiciu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardinho Sharkin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Rasnita's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Desportivo Coala had won, even though Rasnita had held more of the ball.
