In the 24th minute, 罗谦钢 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 27 played minutes Wool United got a freekick which was hit by 罗冰悦. 俞崇岚 kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 林剑铮 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 柳珂笑 in the 36th minute of play. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 柳珂笑 to strike the kick off in the second half. If 雷源森 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wool United's zone, 柳珂笑 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 林剑铮 came out of the goal and 柳珂笑 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wool United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
