Augusto Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hildeberto Rios having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Sadurni came free, but Marcos Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Fausto Sadurni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Catarinense. AVAÍ F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Sadurni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 25 minutes of play, AVAÍ F.C.'s Jonathan Mota made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hildeberto Rios was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 29 minutes, Tiago Cavaco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ⭐⭐️SPECIAL TRIBE F.C.™⭐️⭐'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Cavaco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With a little luck, AVAÍ F.C.'s Marcos Catarinense got control of the ball when Fausto Sadurni tried to sneak it across the goal line. But to his dismay, Tiago Cavaco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-4. In the 81st match minute, AVAÍ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Mansilha charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
