An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Arnalt in the 5th minute of play forced El Torero's goalkeeper Sergio Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético São Sebastião's Qu Feng Bin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton Salles in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Roberto Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Qu Feng Bin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hílton Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Atlético São Sebastião's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton Salles came free, but Qu Feng Bin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Atlético São Sebastião's Sergio Goycochea threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Godofredo Cebo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. El Torero were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Atlético São Sebastião's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Segundo Acosta took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Segundo Acosta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Qu Feng Bin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Segundo Acosta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Qu Feng Bin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Salles in the 41st minute of the match. Roberto Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to El Torero getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Rene Guifre hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Lorenz in the 58th minute of play forced Atlético São Sebastião's goalkeeper Qu Feng Bin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Goycochea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Arnalt in the 61st minute of play. When Carlos Egoitz fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Torero's protests and gave Carlos Egoitz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Atlético São Sebastião's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carolo Lorenz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 70 played minutes El Torero got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Lorenz. Falcão Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Carolo Lorenz struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Qu Feng Bin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Torero. William Santana might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Goycochea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. William Santana ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético São Sebastião's zone, Hílton Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Qu Feng Bin came out of the goal and Hílton Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carolo Lorenz hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
