An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Olivera in the 14th minute of play forced Caarapo SS's goalkeeper Sidnei de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cortez Gill kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Guillermo Pontones came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Caarapo SS's Ruy Dracena. But to his dismay, Ruy Dracena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Sidnei de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Olivera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Ruy Dracena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guillermo Pontones was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 33 minutes into the game, Cassidy Wang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Guillermo Pontones was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's Sidnei de Souza threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgardo Olivera, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 40th match minute, Caarapo SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orvar Bjursell to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Pontones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruy Dracena in the 45th minute of the match. Armando Alamea kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Olivera to make the kick off. Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's Guillermo Pontones proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Caldo de Gallina Ranchero from getting a goal against them. Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's Guillermo Pontones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião de Lima in the 67th minute of play. The Caarapo SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-9. 76 minutes into the match, Ruy Dracena notched a goal, 1-10, to the right of Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's Guillermo Pontones. Guillermo Pontones was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's Guillermo Pontones got control of the ball when Cassidy Wang tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 83 minutes, Edgardo Olivera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caldo de Gallina Ranchero and the Caarapo SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guillermo Pontones was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ruy Dracena showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-12 in the 89 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha Pena in the 92nd minute of play forced Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's goalkeeper Guillermo Pontones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Cassidy Wang made a precise shot to the right of Guillermo Pontones. Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-13. When the match was over Caarapo SS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caldo de Gallina Ranchero throughout the match.
