Cecilio Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janusz Lamczyk in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Janusz Lamczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. São Brás FC's Gervásio Palhares got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Janusz Lamczyk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cecilio Polo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Cecilio Polo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Janusz Lamczyk went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Leonard Olejasz got control of the ball when Piara Turko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomé Sampaio got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gervásio Palhares. Leonard Olejasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervásio Palhares in the 24th minute of play. Leonard Olejasz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervásio Palhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Leonard Olejasz was a little too slow when Gervásio Palhares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-1. Cecilio Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Lamczyk in the 30th minute of the match. Gervásio Palhares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Leonard Olejasz made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Piara Turko could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Leonard Olejasz however easily saved by the left post. Janusz Lamczyk took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cecilio Polo. Cecilio Polo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Valadares in the 38th minute of play forced MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Leonard Olejasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Olejasz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Piara Turko in the 41st minute. Leonard Olejasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervásio Palhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Lamczyk in the 46th minute of play forced São Brás FC's goalkeeper Cecilio Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Janusz Lamczyk to make the kick off. São Brás FC's Cecilio Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Lamczyk in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, São Brás FC's Cecilio Polo got control of the ball when Janusz Lamczyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonard Olejasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervásio Palhares in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Gervásio Palhares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonard Olejasz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 74 minutes into the game, Janusz Lamczyk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cecilio Polo. Janusz Lamczyk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Janusz Lamczyk hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Romualdas Atkočiunas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cecilio Polo came out and tried to block the shot, but Romualdas Atkočiunas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 81st minute. São Brás FC's Bruno Fernandes was substituted for Fábio Valadares. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Panagonov got free with Cecilio Polo in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Piara Turko took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonard Olejasz. Leonard Olejasz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Fernandes in the 92nd minute of play forced MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Leonard Olejasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes, Lukasz Tuliszewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec and the São Brás FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lukasz Tuliszewski hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Eulalio Puskás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
