With a little luck, AKTÜRK SPOR's Saltuk Erva got control of the ball when Sebastião de Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saltuk Erva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassidy Wang in the 6th minute. Fabian Postelnicescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sidnei de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haider Baroun in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, AKTÜRK SPOR's Haider Baroun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sidnei de Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by AKTÜRK SPOR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonathan Mendes was slow to take the kick. During this time Caarapo SS's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Caarapo SS's corner Jonathan Mendes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Saltuk Erva quite easily take care of the ball. Román Olmedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sidnei de Souza having to make a save. Román Olmedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, AKTÜRK SPOR's Haider Baroun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sidnei de Souza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, Caarapo SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benny Schweitzer to maneuver through the defense. Sidnei de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haider Baroun in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Caarapo SS got a freekick which was hit by Benny Schweitzer. A collision led to Caarapo SS getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Sebastião de Lima hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes AKTÜRK SPOR got a freekick which was hit by Haider Baroun. In the 45th minute of the match, Ruy Dracena tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Saltuk Erva saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

A nice corner shot did that Arif Cengiz Sökmensu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sidnei de Souza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 56th minute, Caarapo SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Román Olmedo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 57th minute, Orvar Bjursell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Özkan İğdemir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei de Souza having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Román Olmedo in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidnei de Souza saved Caarapo SS from getting behind. Sidnei de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Román Olmedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Postelnicescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sidnei de Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. With his leg Sidnei de Souza managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when AKTÜRK SPOR's Román Olmedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 69 minutes into the match, Román Olmedo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Caarapo SS's Sidnei de Souza. Sidnei de Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Román Olmedo had several of the Caarapo SS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 74 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Sidnei de Souza as he didn't even see the shot coming. 79 minutes into the match, AKTÜRK SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Ruy Dracena came free, but Saltuk Erva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the AKTÜRK SPOR defense, Sebastião de Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saltuk Erva. The AKTÜRK SPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saltuk Erva should have stopped the shot. Sidnei de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Román Olmedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Caarapo SS's goal looked a bit too open when Román Olmedo came free, but Sidnei de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
